School of Dance

Located in Webster, our 4000 sq foot studio promotes creativity, growth and self-confidence. Students feel welcome as they collaborate in a disciplined yet friendly atmosphere in many styles of dance.Students of all ages will learn from well trained teachers with years of collective stage and teaching experience. Alumni have been accepted to prestigious summer programs, graduated from professional ballet schools, performed at the Kennedy Center, with Carolina Ballet Theater and Paul Taylor Dance to name a few. They return as teachers and parents.Students will create unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships as they participate in class and perform on stage in our professional year end show. Classes are limited.

Please go to a dancewear store for the proper fit for your shoes. They have all the supplies you need.

Our dance studio requires the following:

Attire

Leotards Any solid color, no attached skirts or bike shorts, no costumes or tutus
Tights pink for all one hour or more ballet classes. Any color (black pink or tan) for tap, jazz and combo classes
Hair Hair must be firmly secured in a bun or ponytail attached to the head with a clip or barrette. No ponytails.
Jewelry Any jewelry that hangs or dangles should be removed. Post earrings are allowed.
Dance Shorts must be tight fitting, solid color with no writing. No gym shorts or street clothes. Dancewear stores will have them. Solid color camisoles may be worn over leotards. T-shirts slim fit solid color no graphics or writing.

Shoes: pink leather for ballet, TAN jazz shoes, black tap shoes.

Tap shoe style by level
Pre-school to Combo 3: black patent leather, Capezio junior tyette #NC25 has elastic sewn in to keep shoes on, or Capezio 3800. 3800 is preferred for combo 3.
Level 1-3: Capezio 3800, Bloch Tap On no patent leathers
Level 4-5: Bloch Tap On Tap oxfords can be worn but better to wait until they grow more. No patent Capezio 3800.
Intermediate-Advanced: Tap oxfords. More expensive but if you're feet are done growing, a great investment
must have a sole or some support. If they bend completely in half they are not allowed.
Price range: $65-175 average $70.

Lyrical Half soles NOT bear paws or foot undies. NOT needed for pre-lyrical class

Boys: dance or sweatpants, t-shirt, black ballet shoes, tie tap shoes

Classes Begin Saturday September 11

Tuition is based on a yearly fee divided into 4 quarterly (not monthly) payments due on Wednesday September 8 - Monday November 15 - Monday January 17 - Monday March 21

Unlimited class fee per student once 6.5 hours are reached $460.00 per term Family maximum $700.00 per term

Costume Balance/Show fee March 5, 2022 $10.00 per student show fee
